St. Mary's Catholic School hosts a Fall/Halloween Family night to remember 


The night began with welcome greetings by families, staff, and children who were all wearing creative costumes.  I felt a little underdressed in my wardrobe but I intend on bringing on the dress-up drama next year!

 Pictured here are two members of St. Mary's Catholic School who undoubtedly were a big part of the success of the night.

☻️ A beautiful pair in attendance who said they were dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland. One of the best costumes of the night

Trunk or Treat was a highlight. Parent Vollunteers were impressive with the spooky decor and some included fun games

Face painting was a fun surprise which kids didn't mind waiting in line. Pictured here, Abigail Kennedy receives a butter painted by a festival volunteer 


My daughter,  Grace and I give the festival 10 ghost fingers 👻  for the Haunted Hayride, Hotdogs,  Photo Props, and Safety.

Boho Bedroom Design on a Budget

A Girls room, Boho style.  June 9, 2021 Katina Kennedy  Photo credits,  Google photos and Target.com Have you been pondering the question,  " what age do we move to the next phase of our Mini's bedroom design?"  After studying child development for years my answer to this question would be somewhere between ages 2-4, 3-6, 7-10 and 11-14. Usually 12-14 Mom's will act as  the financial behind their Tweens vision.  We were inspired by one of our favorite little 11year old girls, Kailee. Just turning the big "11" and moving to a new and bigger home,  inspired us to think about a cute transitional design for her age group.  Not too pink and frilly; but still girly and fun. We decided on a cute Boho inspired room. Cute window shades that still allow lot's of natural light in the room.  A ottoman that acts as storage at the foot of her bed adds texture to the room, and an extra place to display items that she loves. Spring Break on a Budget

Katina Kennedy, author March 13, 2022 Spring Break is here for most families and  I am here for it.  This year my little and I scheduled our week.  Most of our activities are designed especially for littles but I am making time for myself as well.   Day 1🥞 Plan a morning breakfast. Have everyone who will be attending write down a question and something they want to share.  Put the questions in a bowl and set them near the center of the table.  This will be a guided exchange while eating up. Make breakfast simple and fun.  Throw in a few toppings for pancakes and waffles, such as Reddi Whip cream and flavored syrups. This is the kick-off to a fun-filled week. Following Breakfast go out for a picnic or walk at a park. add 🍓 fresh fruit not just any pancake!
