Black History Month intertwined with Love 🖤                                                                         I have been thinking a lot about the history of women who made hugely important sacrifices for black people enslaved.  Love is on the brain, how could it not be during February.  Everywhere you look there are images of couples in love, sexy lingerie, plus hearts and flowers.  Here, I take a look at the soft side of Harriet Tubman.  You know the side all of us women possess? Boho Bedroom Design on a Budget

Usually 12-14 Mom's will act as  the financial behind their Tweens vision.  We were inspired by one of our favorite little 11year old girls, Kailee. Just turning the big "11" and moving to a new and bigger home,  inspired us to think about a cute transitional design for her age group.  Not too pink and frilly; but still girly and fun. We decided on a cute Boho inspired room. Cute window shades that still allow lot's of natural light in the room.  A ottoman that acts as storage at the foot of her bed adds texture to the room, and an extra place to display items that she loves. Spring Break on a Budget

Katina Kennedy, author March 13, 2022 Spring Break is here for most families and  I am here for it.  This year my little and I scheduled our week.  Most of our activities are designed especially for littles but I am making time for myself as well.   Day 1🥞 Plan a morning breakfast. Have everyone who will be attending write down a question and something they want to share.  Put the questions in a bowl and set them near the center of the table.  This will be a guided exchange while eating up. Make breakfast simple and fun.  Throw in a few toppings for pancakes and waffles, such as Reddi Whip cream and flavored syrups. This is the kick-off to a fun-filled week. Following Breakfast go out for a picnic or walk at a park. add 🍓 fresh fruit not just any pancake!
