Ideas for Planning a Four Week Morning Date With Your Minis. Four Saturdays and A unique experience for each date. I share two simple and easy plans for dates on a budget

Family Planner with a Notes Section

Whether you have one little or more, it's always nice to spend some one-on-one time.  I have one, Grace; and one Saturday morning I discovered that this girl has a lot to say!  We talk about school on the car ride home and we talk at dinner, but on weekdays there is so much focus on getting ready for the next day.  I couldn't believe how many aspects of Grace's everyday life at school with her teachers and friends I was missing out on.  Taking her on a Saturday morning cafe date was enlightening and fun; which is how I came up with the idea of planning a month of Saturday morning dates.  All you need is a Plan.  I suggest this wall planner found at Pottery Barn.

Cafe and Coffee

Grace and I had our first Saturday morning date at a local downtown cafe@Grizzly's Cafe in Longview, Texas.  First things first, coffee!  Moma's got to have a cup of Joe to start the day.

This was one special coffee, ideal for a special morning.  Grace ordered milk with a cinnamon roll so big that we shared.

Secrets were shared and laughter was on the menu.  I learned that she misses her friend Isabella and that she thinks a boy in her class is very rude.  Isabella is a friend that we haven't seen in a long while, now I know to add calling her mom on my to-do list. Unfortunately, I had to admit that boys are going to be rude and annoying, and there was nothing I could do to fix it.  Our first-ever talk about boys went well.

After coffee and pastries, we decided to stroll around downtown.  The simple and easy date that doesn't break the bank.

Downtown in our small town.
For our next date, we have planned a downtown Farmer's Market.  We're trying to eat green, so this should make for an excellent choice.  This is another Saturday morning date you can put on your schedule.  You might even plan to cook dinner for your family with the yummies you find. Bon a Petite.

I hope that you and your little's make amazing Saturday morning date memories. Please share with us in the comments.  We look forward to seeing you.  Xoxo, Katina Kennedy
